Vianney Taquet
I am a Marie Sklodowska-Curie ASTROFIT2 Fellow working at the Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory in the beautiful Florence area. My research aims at unveiling the chemical origin of our Solar System. For this purpose, I develop astrochemical models and I carry out millimetric observations of star-forming regions in order to follow the chemical evolution during the formation of low-mass protostars.

Several questions drive my research:
-
What is the degree of chemical complexity reached in space ?
-
How do physical and chemical processes impact the chemical diversity observed towards protostars ?
-
Are cometary and meteoritic molecules of interstellar origin ?
You can find my CV here.

Please go to the Research webpage for a more complete description of my research interests. Over the years, I developed a gas-grain astrochemical model, called GRAINOBLE. A more detailed description of the code is given on the dedicated webpage.
